Accurate angle measurement and correction is essential for precision sheet metal fabrication, especially during the bending process, and the IRIS Plus is a cutting edge system designed for the most challenging applications in this field. This state-of-the-art unit is equipped with a laser transmitter and receiver set, mounted on the upper beam on the bending machine. In addition, IRIS Plus has a high speed digital camera and an image data processing system contained within the receiver unit. These components work together in real time to ensure that the bending angle is measured accurately and that any necessary automatic corrections are performed in a timely manner.

Measure Laser Angle Measuring Systems work with Data-M Engineering to provide accurate bending angle measurements after a single bending operation. These fully automated laser-assisted systems are customized for CNC bending machines. With the LaserCheck feature, they can accurately determine the bending angle with better than 0.1° accuracy, regardless of material properties or thickness. This level of accuracy was previously unavailable in the industry.
